Boot Carriage

Hi, any ideas wether inghams or monarch airlines charge for boot crriage or if you have to include this in your 20kg? Thanks.

Can't take yr boots as hand luggage...

Classed as dangerous,i wanted to take my boots and helmet on board...

Girl said i'd look like a storm trooper lol...

check with your tour op.. most airlines now will charge you for booking in 2 bags ... you cannot take boots in cabin .. they are apparantly a dangerous item.. funny .. never heard of a high jacker using them .... airports sell you a bottle of vodka thou ???????????

Ive got an e.mail from easyjet stating that they will accept boots on board as hand luggage. Im flying from gtwk on Sunday 27th to pamps via sophia Very Happy

Thanks guys and girls, i will give my tour operator a call. The only time my boots are a dangerous weapon are when they are hurtling down the slopes Confused

We went to boro in Dec, and didn't pay for extra carriage for our boots. I called Thomas Cook before we flew and they said we'd have to pay so we just kept our mouths shut when booking in.

I was planning on taking mine as hand luggage and after reading this post called balkan who said i couldn't. Don't intend paying the £17 so will put them in my suitcase and fill my boot bag with some clothes!
