Boots - Hotel Lion Bo

Hello All

Just been offered a good deal at Hotel Lion Borovets for new year - any 1 ne idea what hotel is like.

Also went to Pamps last new year- should snow conditins be similar.

This will be our 2nd year - thinking of just hiring gear & list passes - ne one know what you pay for private lessons locally.

Lastly -wife struggled with hire boots last year - ne advise on purchasing boots ie where from, how much, best fit etc

I am staying at the Lion in Feb, I understand it has had a refurb and is ok. I am also interested in in lessons and I was going to drop my Ski instructor from last year in Borovets an e-mail. I was there for Christmas last year and the snow was ok for about 5 of the 7 days so I am looking at past reports and feb looked good.

Oh and forgot to say I bought my boots out there last year as scholl boots were killing me. They were a great price i think about 1/2 uk price

If you have a Decatholon Sports nearby they do great ski gear at good prices, otherwise buy out in Bulgaria as the shops do great deals.

was when I married here - but you know how they all go after a few years !!!!!!
