Boots & Skis

Is anyone aware of the sorts of prices and the quality of the boots and either the skis or blades over there? People all over the boards seem to be urging people to buy boots here but go there for the other hardware, what are your opinions?

Much appreciated,

Pete Storm

re: Boots & Skis

All Ski equipment is cheap as chips in Pamps compared to UK high st prices.
Boots range from 195 lev up around the 400 lev mark (£70 - £145). And those are the deals I have seen. Im sure you could find better deals. You can get a very good pair of boots for less than £100. Skis and boards are also cheap (so is hire).

The boots are fine and from most major makes, personally i use my own boots and hire skiis as i cant be a***d to carry them around. There are some excellant deals on boots especially the later in the season that you go. Youll save loads against the uk price

Do you want new? do you want to deal?? get to know your instructor, be nice, and do a deal, youll be suprised at what can be achieved by a word in the right ear. Bear in mind that basic pay for an instructor is around £70, PER MONTH, thats why they rely heavily on tips from the group, and will do almost anything to sort you out, so that you tip well!!!

They had some blades when I popped into the snow shack yesterday. Can't remember how much they were, but why not e-mail Steve at the Snow Shack for some help.

I think they were about 100 pounds.
