Boots

erm hi all, before you dismiss me as a total nitwit (which i might be anyway) i'd like to qualify that i come from a warm country with NO snow at all. Now for the grand question...would high heeled leather boots be at all wearable in Bansko at Chrismas time or will everyone be wearing snow boots everywhere??
Thanks

re: Boots

Hi Rita,

You can wear anything you like as long as they are not slippery. I prefer if they are not leather for the sole reason that I am not into wearing dead animals. I like to see animals in there habitat.
Enjoy your christmas in Bansko.

Happy Christmas

re: Boots

Well Rita you would be a brave lass to wear then high healed boots!!!!! Think you might end up breaking you neck!!! Mind you, you woman seem to able to manage in them heels. Honestly though I would stick to flat soles with a good rubber grip. Very Happy

re: Boots

Yep, get some footwear with good grip. I chanced my arm with the fashion police last season and wore 5-a-side semi-studded trainers on both my ski hols. Though a plastercast on your wrist is even less cool ... Wink

re: Boots

Hi
I wear high heels, sometimes it helps because you can dig your heels in the snow.

re: Boots

thanks for your help and advice...i'll prob end up taking my boots along with some sensible footwear. Studded football boots sound great for snow, might try some Cool
