Hi

Has anyone stayed at the Bor-Edelweiss in Borovets? Looks ok, but is it really only a 15 minute walk to the lifts?

Hi,

I just got back for Hotel Bor. It's really nice. Very clean and friendly, and food fairly good aswell! You will love it. It takes about 15 mins to walk up to the main lifts yes, it is slightly uphill but we didn't find it a problem. If you are feeling lazy or tired you can get a horse and cart up to the lifts (costs about 10 levs). They are waiting outside reception just about all the time. Have fun!

Stayed at both, very good, ride up, taxi or Horse and cart, and walk back in the late afternoon.
Rooms very clean, clean towels every day. Food typically Bulgarian, never went hungry.
Cant wait for next year, enjoy.
