Bor Hotel Money exchange

hey we are going to hotel bor on the 24th but was thinking of not taking loads of LAVS and taking sterling instead so that we could change money up at the hotel (like I have read some people have done)

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if they charge commision for changing up money at the hotel as dont want to get ripped when we get there.

Any advice would be great ! thanks !

most hotels are ok at changing money and have good rates. . .just avoid the booths or shady men on the street offering VERY good exchange rates. . .we always take sterling and just a few levs to get us through first day

Came back on Sunday after a great week. Changed sterling at the Bank in the Rila Hotel. Decent rate - 2.75 and no commission and bank open 24 hours.

I stayed in the Bor a few weeks ago and they gave us a rate of 2.80 - no commission.
