Hiya

Really boring question Im afraid but having read all the reports on changing money (ie cash machines being tampered with etc) can I ask two boring questions on Bansko?

1. Is it best to take half sterling for the first half of the week and then some travellers cheques incase we need them to change in bank/hotel?

2. Do we need photos for lift passes?

Hi Kate. I am going to Bansko for the first time too and have been advised to take cash in good condition sterling notes. I understand that digital photos are taken in Bansko which are then scanned onto a credit card style lift pass.

Are you a first time skier aswell? Are you worried, who are you going with? I'm going with 3 experienced guys and am worried I won;t be able to 'hold my own'
