I'm sure there's a post already on this topic, but I didn't have much luck searching.
I went to Borovets 2 years ago and had a great time. I'm looking forward to staying in better accommodation than I could ever afford in western europe, trying out a skidoo, the nightlife and buying my own board, boots, etc this year. However I've read that Pamps and Bansko are better for boarding. I can shakily link turns and my partner will be a beginner, but is there a lot going on at Pamps or Bansko? ...

I went to Borovets 2 years ago and had a great time. I'm looking forward to staying in better accommodation than I could ever afford in western europe, trying out a skidoo, the nightlife and buying my own board, boots, etc this year. However I've read that Pamps and Bansko are better for boarding. I can shakily link turns and my partner will be a beginner, but is there a lot going on at Pamps or Bansko? Will the better boarding slopes be lost on us as relative newbies to the sport? Are the lift queues shorter?
was in bansko last march with hubby who both boards and skis he did comment that bansko was better for boarding as there was hardly any drag lifts and most of the area could be reached on chair lift. also lots of good off pieste which I believe is good for boarding, lift quese were very short didnt wait long at all and was there at a realy busy time, although were on the slopes by 8.30 every morning as I am sad and like to be the first down while it is still realy newly groomed, think the ...
