Boro - Rila Monastery

Hi - can anyone tell me how far away is the Rila Monastery from Borovets ? Is there a lot to see there ? Would it take a whole day or few hours should be enough ? Is there any transport ? Pls help - THANKS

theres a link on this site for the Rila monastery, seems like its well worth a visit.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Dont waste a day of your holiday, its a long way, in winter could be three hours each way, and to be honest when we went it was nice, but not NICE if you get me, its not that old, been rebuilt about 4 times, the museum is quite basic, you need a guide its all in BG. If your on hoilday in the summer go, but not if youre over for a weeks skiing Cool
