Ski Angel, glad you had such a good time. The Titanic Bar is the tops...always have a good time in there.
Despite all the negatives this year on this board we will be going back again...and again.
Forgot that I asked you that question...sorry to take so long to reply. I was genuinely asking if you had been any where else because you had said earlier that you didn't see any reason to go any where else. There certainly were no alteria motives. I just wanted to know where else you had been and perhaps enter into a 'whats good about this one, what's good about that one' kind of dicussion. there are some very tetchy people on this forum. Hi Tracey,
I known what you r saying i have have been reading all the discussions some times it do get a bit out of hand. Some people love the place some people hate it.Like i said before eveytime we have been its been good skiing conditions , but may be if i went and the weather was not so good i might feel differant and when i out ski the runs then i might want to try somewhere else you never know
I've been to Bulgaria twice and both times have had a great holiday. There were lots of bits I loved and the last time there were bits that put me off a bit. I love skiing and like you I've been to a few other places. Once again in those places there have been bits I loved and pitfuls (except Canada). Its just nice to hear from others about good places to go.
What was Italy like? I've been skiing in Italy twice, but as a child and cannot remember much other than lots of snow
When we were there this year there were a group of English lads playing rugby with the Bulgarian ski intructors next to the 4 man chair lift outside the rila, that was something differant to watch did anyone else see the match
We were oviously there the same as you ski angel because 29 of us went and we were the people playing the rugby well not me the boys and men from are group as the boys are part of a rugby team over here. So ye i saw it. It was quite funny to watch they were slidding all over the place.
Lavino , was good the runs where more demanding and also longer of what i can remember but we had to bus it every day to the slopes not very far but still had to get a bus or a taxi there and back, the food in the hotel was on par the hotel food in Boro the place wasn't as pretty as Boro when everything is covered in the white stuff .
Although it might have changed a lot we went a while ago
We stayed at the Samakov and despite lots of poor reviews regarding the food I really enjoyed my dinner everynight! It was much better than the food when i was in Andorra.
Yes emma it very funny to watch you must have had a good group with you. I bet some of them were in pain afterwards i saw one of the guys playing and he had all the skin off his leg where he must had slid on the ice. They were very brave or very something playing in shorts on the ice
