Finally the news you have been waiting for...there has been 20cm fresh snow up top overnight and it is still snowing heavily. We still need the snow to continue but in essence it is great news, although unfortunate for those who have just gone home.

Morning All,

Marky 2 is still not open, alhtough they may open it tomorrow if the snow continues. Marky 1 and Suhar are in excellent conditions. Be careful on the run down though as although there is now snow and no mud / rocks visible, there are still rocks underneath.
Yastrebets 3 is closed due to races, but Popangelov and 1 are open and again in excellent conditions. The Harima is also in much better condition than it has been for the last few weeks.
On the Rila side, the rila runs are skiing well and nowhere near as icy as yesterday.
The snow is very heavy at the top at the moment and I will keep you posted from the restaurant.

Excellent conditions. We skied virgin powder on the Rila blacks this am and it's some of the best skiing we have ever had. Lunch at the White House was great - if you are going to Boro you simply have to support them up there as they have great prices and a fantastic friendly welcome. Skiied pangolov (sp?) back - brilliant again although Sophie's legs were shot and we has to take it slowish.
It is still absolutely bucketing down so ready for another super day tomorrow.

Oh and Liverpool hammered Man U and Brighton won so a good start to the holidays!
Thanks Jez - was great meeting you and Sophie and really appreciate the support - hopefully you enjoyed the homemade rakia but not sure about your driving a skidoo afterwards....!!
For everyone else, up top and down below there has now been around 40cm since the early hours....so basically it has doubled since this morning. Local forecast says it will continue for the next couple of days. ... But will keep you posted.

As most people who meet us know, we always say come skiing in March, so if anyone has a few days holiday left and if the forecast does ring true for the next couple of days, then try and get out here if you can!!
B&K
P.s Bobby is still suffering with the ribs but is getting better via a course of home-made rakia....!!
woohoo my girlfriend and I will be in Borovets on Wednesday! Hope the snowfall keeps up!
Definately plan on visiting the White House for a famous hot chocolate & to say hi to you guys. I've been visiting this forum ever since I booked our trip in November and we are both very excited to get over there, shred some snow, meet some friends & sink some booze!
See you soon!
