In Part 1, the Gondola was only going to the mid-station, so we got off and hiked up for an hour. Gets better as it goes on as for the first few metres I was still a bit stiff from the walk up!

Thanks to Bobby Turbo for being the best cameraman in the world, hope he comes back from the States soon, even though you can hear him shouting at me a lot in these!
I'd say boarding was harder at the start but gets easier after a few lessons. There's no real relation to skiing, other than where you do it ... ok, it's all about weight distribution and balance, but going sideways. In saying that I think I picked it up quicker as I had a skiing background.
