Hi all. just back from Boro last night. I'm afraid to say that the conditions are now getting to be terrible. Borosport are closing runs at the bottom of the mountain and I have never seen so many ice induced accidents.
Top of the Gondola is OK still but VERY busy and getting worse fast.
For anyone who has been before, outside the Rila is concrete... NO snow, nor in the main Street.
Place needs a huge dump and fast, I feel really sorry for yesterdays new arrivals.

yes the snow is going very fast. Fingers crossed for anyone out there now, hope you get a big dump of snow because you need it

i agree the last day was very wet and icey - just got back last night so was very lucky as the conditions were excellentglad i wasnt going yesterday !

first the lower resorts close for the season (as happening in nBG) then the higher ones mainly some in the Alps and the end is America.That is it.from 15th Jan until when?-probably until another week to 10 days.then it is only skiing on top of Borovets and only on top of Bansko and of course Vitosha.Pamporovo is almost out now.Actually more or less it is time now.
Shame for all the people bought something with the idea of a long lettings.Ski season in BG is 2 months if you are lucky.

You just haven't got a clue have you!All of Europe has suffered this year.
In recent years it has been possible to ski Bulgaria from later November to late April.
2 months -- how stupid is that!
