New to Boro - flying out on the 27th. Staying at the Rila - how long to walk / bus / transfer to the gondola? John

Hi John,

You are a few steps from the Rila slopes (you overlook them and literally cross the path to the nuresery / 4man chair) and then a few mins walk to the gondola.

The map shows the gondola up to "marky" some way from the Rila???

Hi ya,

I think it's just the map is confusing!! The Gondola is about 4 or 4 mins walk from the Rila hotel. On the map, it does look like it is quite a way away, but that's not the case - honest!! It may be a little longer after a day's skiing & drinking, but even then you would be pushed to take more than 5mins to walk it!!

A bit naughty but I skied down the street one year from Rila to the Gondola when there was plenty of snow.
Obviously very slowly but saved walking as its a bit slippery sometimes.
