Boro Piste's

Hi Guys,

I’ll be new to Borovets this year and wanted to ask what the longest run is?
I see on this site it says 12km where is this from?? The longest Piste length I see is 6km?

Which two piste’s join up to create this?

Regards,

Daniel Booze

re: Boro Piste's

that's obvious Daniel, judging by what you are leaning on in your pic Snowboarding you'll be going forward and back at the same time. Hence doubling up the distance,=12km. What ever your choice you'll have a great time. Pehaps Bobby can answer your question.

re: Boro Piste's

Hi Daniel,

As far as i know the longest run is the Musala Pathway. Its a tree lined track, which runs from nearly the top of the mountain right down into the resort.

I think its classed as a green run, but there are a couple of bits that are a little more difficult, especially if its a bit icy.

Its a beautiful run and a 'must do' if its open. If you wanted you can ski from the very top of the mountain all the way down to the Rila Hotel.

Hope this helps

Hilly

Where abouts is the half pipe?

Someone told me top of the gondola down to the left and then there's an opening on the left?? Could someone in the know shed some light?

Thanks for the above, i will look for the Musala pathway, sounds more like an Indian dish then a run but both i'm quite happy to have a go at! many thanks, Daniel

re: Boro Piste's

The Musala is a great run, agree it can be icy in places. It was the first time I'd gone from top to bottom of any mountain, and feels amazing.

A few flat spots, you'll get to know where they are if you do it a few times so you can keep your speed up and not look like you're trying to do cross country skiing!!
