Well then what can i say except that good ole Boro was as good as ever.
We got back Sunday after a week of changeable weather with the Monday 14deg, Tue snow all day, Wed more snow, Thur clear with a big dump overnight and Fri i cant remember as after that Buzz Bar affecting the mind it all gets a bit fuzzy.
The slopes held up quite well but towards the end of the week even with good dumps of snow there did seem to be some bad icy patches but you learn to live with them.
The best part of the skiing was the "off piste" which was top notch and at times had us all in stiches as even the mates who could ski were getting caught out which made it even better.
The Rila is getting to the point where it could do with a refurb but it is far from being bad in any sense as it is still very good value for money.
All in all Boro was good fun but my thoughts are these:-
1, The resort does need a brush over.
2, More runs are needed.
3, When the winds get up and the gondela shuts the waiting to get on the lifts does get a bit much.

Overall another great holiday and i will for one give it a miss next year but will look at it again for 2008 when they are in Euro and see what changes have been made.

have to agree about the chairlifts when the gondola was shut the waiting took ages the kids kept giving up and going bumboarding instead of ski-ing
we too agree more runs are needed but they will come im sure
the resort is still for me how i love it but i feel it is starting to change as more and more peeps go there

no no no robo how can you let a night out make you forget a day out on the piste thats just wrong?!?!!
never had that problem myself though i made sure the OH had that happen to him a few times though sadly our bar tab stayed depressingly low despite our best efforts and buying for loads peeps that i still dont know who they were Vass cheers hon im sure i still owe you but you wouldnt bloody have it but il get you back when you come to blighty

Glad you had a good one - we did too. Your right about the icy patches was getting to be a pain by the end of the week.

We did a lot of skiing from the mid station when the gondola was closed to the top it was less crowded. I happened to be one that got caught out after one the dumps - spent half a day in the medical centre having x rays and people poking my ribs! Went back out next having taken a pharmacey full off drugs

I agree the resort probably needs more runs now it is getting more popular - hopefully they will start investing soon.

Night life was good as always and the food was great in the restaurants.

Stayed in ice angles after booking through this site and it was great - smart hotel and no problems with transfers etc will probably do the same again next year
