we keep going bak to the rila each year and to boro as its such a great holiday that we have there as we are happy, the hotel has swimming pool and kids room/arcade so is good and as for snow well never can be sure at crimbo its all luck some years its great and others not so good but a good holiday will still be had by you all

Last season the snow didn't really come until New Year, then about three feet fell overnight. However we did have a good white christmas made snowmen etc and Christmas dinner at the Blue was excellent and there are lots of restaurants to chose from. If you are dedicated to skiing then you might consider somewhere else but noone can guarantee snow in the early season.

re: Boro at xmass

the rila studios are 4 bed made of twins pushed together (or nt its up to you) and bunk beds
there are loads of restaurants to chose from and all are really friendly and kind
i love francos and katys steak, black cat etc and we go to lots that i dont even get the name of
we just walk and go somewhere in and eat and we have never had a bad meal out of the hotel yet
me being me i tend to at first ignore the places to eat with people stood outside trying to get you in but to be honest ...

my children are 10 and 9 and they also were happy eating out and they are kinda fussy but they had fun and were helped by the reastaurants people when they went in by themselves to get food and never got given the wrong change and were told what things were if they didnt know Smile
