Boro in Dec - Conflicting reports

I know people have asked what the conditions are like in Dec at Boro, but no one gives any experiences from what I have seen so far. If you have been to Boro at Xmas (1st week of the season) please let me know.

I have looked at the webcams for dec last yr and the snow reports on various website and the two don't paint the same picture.

Help would be gratefully received on this one.

the ski season in the bulgarian resorts usually start around 20th december. For the last 3 years I ve been here, there was always snow at this period
4 years ago, the season started in november !!!

Hey Marc,

around the 20.th december the season for the foreign tourist starts, the most resorts work much earlier latest point of opening is around the 8th because this students day and all the resorts are filled with bulgarian students have a really big party. The snow last year was okay in the first days of december there was a lot of fresh snow fallen. There was some one before but not enough for skiing.

We went for xas last year to Boro, Websites said no snow but when we got there, there was bout 10-12 inches of snow, started snowing on the monday and snowed till thursday, even had snow on xmas day. It was so Brilliant. I dont think you need worry, Winter has started already in Bulgaria with the snow this week, iknow it will melt as the temp rises into next week but lets hope this is a sign of things to come.
