Hi,
My partner and I are booked for Pamps coming over on the 7th Feb. This is my first snowboarding holiday but the missus has been to Pamps for the last 5 years running and has always had a good time. Given the situation with the snow in Pamps, or lack thereof, we are going to speak to the travel agent tomorrow to see if we can change to a different resort. Assuming we are able to switch with less than 4 weeks to go which would be the best resort for an intermediate and advanced, Boro or ...

My girlfriend painted a really good picture of Pamps from her experiences and I was really looking forward to going but the lack of snow and bad piste conditions have really put us off. I appreciate the weather may change a lot over the next few weeks but if it doesn't I don't want to spend my first holiday riding over ice, rocks, grass and tree stumps, lol.
We might not even be able to change but just in case we are some suggestions and advice on the best resort to switch to would be much appreciated.

I am a Bansko lover but both Bansko and Boro fans will offer advice I am sure.
More the point I am afraid is that I think you may find it difficult to transfer resorts. Others have posted along this line and I think to change resorts late in the day is bit of a 'no no' from what I gather.
I really feel for all those booked into Pamps at the mo and just keep fingers crossed that the snow will come. Talk of rain on Weds - may be snow in resort - let's hope it dumps BIG stylee ...
