Can someone put my mind at rest, I am off to Borovets next Saturday and I keep thinking I will get there and the sun will be out with no snow but green slopes!Whats the chances of this happening?

Dont worry about it bud, I was out there the same time last year and it was all good. It only started to go at the bottom when i was flying back the following Saturday, and with no lift pass and a 2.30pm pick up it wasnt a problem!!

Why does everyone worry about the snow. If there is no snow at the bottom just get a trip to the top.
Even at freeze thaw conditions there is over a metre of snow to melt, plus the ice breaks down to give a good skiing surface. Albeit the blacks do get a bit thin but these are for us old timers and not for the faint hearted.
If you are silly enough to try a black on your first time check the hospital out first it may be enough to put you off. Don't be the big I am and ruin a week always ...

Got back from Boro on 04/03, sun was out and 11degrees, but snow is still good, especially over the gondola side, there are a few patches on the edges on some runs, but nothing to worry about, as weather was mixed all week, but we mainly had snow and lots more arriving. Have a good one and wish I was still there
