Due to some preparation works for European Cup 2014 in Borovets, some ski runs in ski center “Yastrebets” will be closed, as followed:
Ski run “Popangelov” – from 3.02 to 16.02 2014
Borovets is getting ready to host the world’s best men-alpine skiers in slalom and giant slalom on the 15th and 16th of February. One of the organizers of the races - BOROSPORT, has assembled a large team of experts in different areas, under the leadership of Georgi Kochov - Sports Director of BOROSPORT and former coach of the Bulgarian national alpine ski team.
These races will be the last ones before the Olympic Games in Sochi and will attract top participants who will use them as a "dress rehearsal”, as well as representatives of the world sports media and the fans of the winter sports in general.
Sounds like a load of PR tosh from the money grabbing bosses of borosport trying to big up a failing resort!

As for reply from Borovets about their decades underfunding and reaching a dead end -forget it.
Thick heads don't answer- they just continue to collect the remaining money and run.
