Just got back after 1 weeks fab skiing at Borovets. Ist time skiing and thanks to my instructor Evanna at Borosports for teaching me the basics and progressing us to a Blue Run. She is so nice, pleasant and nothing is too much for her and she even offered to take my wife and me to Samakov yesterday on her day off to show us the sights. Nothing but praise for service of Borosports staff at Gondola as they spent 30 mins last Sunday fitting me the correct boots. Also fantastic customer service at Moura Hotel. We asked to move rooms because of proximity to lift, no questions asked. We asked to keep our room until 5pm yesterday - No problem. A note - Moura closed yesterday for season so be careful when booking as you may spend part of your holiday in Moura and half in sister hotel Breda which isn't half as cosy and intiment. Now snow conditions. Fabulous last week but now melting fast as witnessed yesterday. Top of gondola on Thursday it was blowing a gail of snow but apart from that it snowed at the right times. What can I say about the views - breathtaking. The air is so pure. No breaks but few bumps to prove I've been. Fanstastic beginners group including a 6 year old who had never skiied before and drew a picture of me. Skiing definitely brings people together. On half board but did eat at Central restaurant which was very good followed by presentation at Rila. Inghams were a credit to themselves. Did candelit walk which was great for meeting others. Borovets next year - Definitely. Cant wait the 52 weeks. The people are really friendly and want to please. FANTASTIC HOLIDAY. BACK TO WORK FOR A REST.
