Just back from Borovets today, had an excellent week but the resort is it's starting to thaw!!Hope everyone else who's just got back had a good time, and for people heading out this week - i hope it snows for you!!

I had a great week!Was a bit afraid if the 4th time could be better then the third but yes, it can!!

we got home about midnight last night. Fantastic week. I have now been to pomporovo, bansko and nor borovets and can say that the latter is the best in my opinion.
We took friends who had never ski'd before and they had a great time. The ski school seems to be well run, although we didnt partake this time and just did our own thing. We stayed in the Hotel Bor, which was a ten minute walk down the hill out of town, but that was nice when walking the beer and the food off, of which there was ...

We couldnt fault the hotel, clean and friendly. Loads of nightlife, noisey or quiet depending on your requirements and some great slopes to work the hangover off on.
But yes it did start to thaw, at an alarming rate!. Although on Tuesday we did have the big dump of snow that had been forecast.
We will certainly be going back to borovets next season.
