Borovets - Sat 28th

Hello Everyone,
We are a couple of Scottish lads flying from Newcastle on Sat 28th to Borovets for our first taste of skiing.
Anyone have information on the Rila hotel (food good/bad), are the conditions good for us beginners? what is the nightlife like? Is the ski school any good? - sorry for all the questions.....just getting excited about the trip.....well we are virgin skiers after all!!!
We should arrive into Borovets approx 10.00/10.30pm - Just in time for a wee drink before ...

Lads, word of warning just in case you haven't heard! Take ENGLISH money ... the banks etc. out there don't take Scottish notes. (surprise, surprise, half the shops in London don't take them either).Other than that you'll have a magic time. It's been a few years since I was in Borovets, so I'm sure there are people here that'll be much more up to date with the hotels and conditions, but just watch the money and you'll be fine.
