Just back from a fantasic week in Borovets (back Saturday). It was snowing from Wednesday until we left and the conditions were really good at the top of the gondola when we left (we didnt want to leave it was so good). The lower runs by the Rila Hotel were still a bit patchy - and the long green/blue run was still a bit icy due to the heavy use.
The visibility was a bit hit and miss due to low cloud and fog - but the wind has been light (except one day) meaning all the lifts have ...

The Chinese in town was really good.
Our hotel was the pits. It was Hotel Kalina. I will do a separate entry on this hotel for anyone unlucky enough to have booked it.
Loved Borovets, loved the skiing and looking to go back later in the season.

We are due to back back to Borovets at the end of Feb - Are there any new lifts open this year ? There were some planned but have they been built yet ?re: Borovets - just back
Did you see the ice angels hotel?Does it look nice?
