Borovets - nightlife?

Am off to Borovets on 4th March, staying at the Samakov hotel, wondered if anyone could recommend any good bars etc. Travelling solo so need places that are safe to walk to from Samakov- any ideas? Booze

Happy Duck is always a good place to start. Buzz Bar ok also.

There are plenty, these are probably the most popular and both are within a couple of minutes of the Samokov.

Happy Duck great food and very friendly, also try Francos. most bars on the main street are good.

went on my own last year..had a great time..never felt uncomfortable esp in franco's...you've no worries shame i'm off there week before i think..lone skier too

Cant beat the Titanic bar! Great lunches and great atmosphere! Nicky is the best ski instructor you will find and very reasonable prices. Say hello to him for me. I will be there the week you leave.

Thanks for the tips guys. I was out in Pamporovo last year and heard that Borovets has better night life so thought i'd give it a go, will definetly try the Happy Duck and franco's Very Happy
