Borovets 14 - 21 Jan

Hi,

I've booked to go to Borovets for the week 14th - 21st Jan. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the snow is usually like at this time of year?

Also, i'm booked into the Lion Hotel - anyone know what this hotel is like?

You should have booked for a week later - that's the popular one.

The Lion is quite a way out from the centre - you'll either have a long walk or rely on the minibuses

Sorry Judith - do you mean the week I'm going is popular so will be very busy? Or do you mean I should have booked a week later as 21st - 28th is more popular?

21st - 28th is more popular with some of us regulars on the board

The main thing to remember is that snow is not guaranteed to be great at any given week - it is all abit of
chance. Bansko had an amzing snowfall thru end Feb/March this year - I have booked that time again next year but who knows - it may be green!! It's all a bit 'pot luck'

The main thing is - to make sure you enjoy yourself!
