Borovets 1st time skiing

Myself and 16 workmates are going to Borovets in a few weeks, we are staying at the Hotel Olymp. Out of the 17 of us 12-13 of us have never skied before so we're looking forward to having a real good laugh!

Has anyone got any hints or tips for us while we are there?

I have been told that Bulgerians love mobile phones and to take some old mobiles to get some great discounts in the ski shops, someone I spoke to got £90 off a new snowboard after handing over 2 old mobiles.

Hey Pete,

I've never heard that about the mobile phones before, but if it's true I'll be taking a bag full!

When you going to boro like? I'm going with 6 mates on the 3rd March. Should be hellish.

You could always try bartering with ya missus, although if mine caught me saying that I'd be history!
