My girlfriend and I are on our first snowboarding trip on these dates. We're gonna be staying at the Ela. We cant wait - hope the snow is deep and plentiful!re: Borovets 21st - 28th January

Most definately, sampled the Absinth in Prague and it's 80 percent. So I may leave the stuff alone if it's a similar strength.No, never been before. This is our first ever time on a winter hol. I nearly bought a snow board las night but was out bid. I'm gonna be hooked for sure. I can just see it!

SueWe are unable to go to Borovets this year but if you are staying in the Ela Hotel can you do me afavour & say hello to Mario, Leon & George From Pete & Julia.
Mario does a mean cocktail & their mother does a great hang over cure in the morning Fresh orange with a squees of lemon.

- really looking forward to it.I'm going with my friend,my 15 year old son and his friend. We're staying in the hotel Rila.Anyone been there ?Mandi

Hi Mandi,
This is our second year at the Rila, is a great place to crash after a hard days skiing. We didn't get to go in the pool last year cos they were using that area to record the Bulgarian version of Parkinson, good laugh watching it all from the bar though.
Rooms are clean and tidy and you have a great view of the slopes, I would recommend drinking in the other local bars though as the hotel's prices are more dear (are'nt they all).
We will be there on the 21st (yay - only ...
