Hi all, myself and the wife are off to borovets for a weeks skiing. Ive been before to austria but that was years ago with the school and the ball and chain has never done it!
She's a bit nervous, and i just cant wait! We went to a dry ski slope the other day and the missus bottled it when she got there,
Can anyone tell me roughly how expensive Borovets is?
Beer? Food? Beer? Best place to buy Beer? Food?
Cheap is the word to discribe it!!
Its getting more expensive and will catch up with the other european resorts in the next 2-3 years as they are throwing millions of Euros into Borrovets for the winter Olympic bid in 2014.
Good starting slopes at Borovets so your wife will be happy. My kids will be better than me this year I bet.
Thats not hard though!!!
Watch the cafe owners they ring you other things and throw on your account at the end but you think its free, the Brits are seen ...

Police are strick and never Joke with them as you get free accomodation for the night no charge!!
My husband and I went to Boro last year and skied for the first time in 12 years, we had a fab time. We are going again on the 4th of Feb and meeting the couple we met last year, taking the kids this time.
We stayed in the Rila but ate out every night cause the food was not great. The four of us would eat and drink for around £25 to £30 per couple and that was a good night. Loads of good eating places, can be a bit pricey on the slopes!! Counting the days till we go back!!
