Hi all,
Hopefully we'll have some snow by the time we get there, but am now thinking of plan B. I know we can go horse riding/mountain biking/bowling but maybe if a few of us get together we can organise some other stuff to do. We have three teenagers to occupy as well as ourselves. Was thinking along the lines of a Treasure hunt / card afternoon / bowl off - something easy to organise as if there are a few people involved we should be able to rustle up a bit of fun rather then mope ...
Hi all,
Hopefully we'll have some snow by the time we get there, but am now thinking of plan B. I know we can go horse riding/mountain biking/bowling but maybe if a few of us get together we can organise some other stuff to do. We have three teenagers to occupy as well as ourselves. Was thinking along the lines of a Treasure hunt / card afternoon / bowl off - something easy to organise as if there are a few people involved we should be able to rustle up a bit of fun rather then mope around in the mud! Post me if your interested/have ideas and if there is enough interest I'll get on the case.
Cheers all

I'm not working much at the mo, as I still work remotely with clients in the UK, so nothing happening at the moment. I can easily help with clues / places etc if necessary for a treasure hunt and help get it ready for you from this side. A scavenger hunt is also easy to organise and could suit all ages as you can give them different items to scavenge to make it easier for little ones etc. Just spoken to my other half (Bulgarian) who is in Borovets at the moment and he has spoken to ...
Hi ya,
I'm not working much at the mo, as I still work remotely with clients in the UK, so nothing happening at the moment. I can easily help with clues / places etc if necessary for a treasure hunt and help get it ready for you from this side. A scavenger hunt is also easy to organise and could suit all ages as you can give them different items to scavenge to make it easier for little ones etc. Just spoken to my other half (Bulgarian) who is in Borovets at the moment and he has spoken to a couple of the bars to get discounts for anyone from this site who gives them a 'codeword'. Not sure how best to make this work but it may help slightly ease the pain for people. Will update you on this.
Maybe also a trip into Samokov (as so much cheaper) - the ice skating rink is still absolutely fine. You could also run a pool tournament - in Boro or Samokov and again involve everyone by offering a different type for the little ones. We have a Jenga / Dominos a Wii etc at the house. So again, if we could get a bar to co-operate, you could have a games / WII night / afternoon for everyone.
Let me know if you need anything (within reason!!) and will try!
Fab - thanks Kas - think my post will get lost in the no-snow reports but will try and drum up interest nearer the time/on the way over if the situation is still bad. Will be in touch.

No probs - just email me if necc (my email is visible) and can try and organise wii etc for you. I am sure though that by then everything will be fine... !
For the kids - Use the swimming pool at the Rila or Samokov for water polo or various races etc.
More for adults - A quiz afternoon at a different bar each afternoon.
I'm happy to join in IF no snow but staying opimistic
