Well still ok conditions reported this morning despite temps expecting to rise again like yesterday...
The best advice from the ops is to get out early as condiitons are much better in the morning and by the afternoon, you are skiing / boarding on a lot of slush and then ice - saying that, there is already a lot of ice on most of the runs so be careful!
Unfortunately the gondola is closed at the top and only open at the middle station although all 3 Yastrebets runs are ...

The best advice from the ops is to get out early as condiitons are much better in the morning and by the afternoon, you are skiing / boarding on a lot of slush and then ice - saying that, there is already a lot of ice on most of the runs so be careful!
Unfortunately the gondola is closed at the top and only open at the middle station although all 3 Yastrebets runs are open - this is due to high winds.
On the Rila side, the Rila black is closed as are Sitn 2 and 3 however everything else is open...
Hopefully the local forecasts for snow (from Thursday) will come to fruition!
Bobby just spoken to Mountain Rescue and they are saying the runs are worse than we were orginally told with sheet ice in quite a few places.
Also, a couple of days ago the 'avalanche' area (marky 3) really did have an avalance... this wasn't due to the amount of snow but to such high winds. One person was buried in the avalance but they managed to rescue him and he is now recovering...
