Morning All,
As you may have seen last night, some snow fell yesterday, but only surmounting to about 5cm. The main improvement is that snow cannons on Rila & yastrebets have been on all night - I read a post on here that said the Rila ones weren't on, but they have been and still are which will help all new arrivals this week.
In summary:
Yastrebts - 2 and 3 remain open. Conditions have been icy and poor, but today, they have been skiied by workers already and they say they are in very good condition and will get better if the cannons manage to stay on.
Markudjik runs - these are all still closed. Whilst is snowed on and off most of yesterday, at the top it was very misty, which bought next to no snow up there.
Rila runs - the same runs are open (x3 nursery slopes), along with Martinovi 1 and 2 (blue and red). They were very poor yesterday (and very icy) and we haven't had a report back on them yet this morning, but will let you know as soon as Bobby calls me.
Sitnyakovo Chair - this has oppened up for the first time in several days but it is only for walkers.
Thanks Kas and Bobby, great to have these reports, I keep checking in to see how it is doing, I am not out till the 27th for a long weekend but last year was not a good year in Borovets but the year before was great so lets hope we have a great snow fall which brings everyone a bit of happiness in 2011!!! LOL
I agree that the Kaz & Bobby reports are really helpful, thanks.
Also good luck with the restaurant - hope you get it open so we can call in next week.
Cheers, Helen
