Kiwis heading first time to Borvets on the 27th ... staying at Mura - anyone got any info about this place ... actually anyone got any advice/info in general??
I havent skiied before so have no gear ... should I get the basics like gloves in UK or is it sweet to hire over there. Also, the Hotel we are staying at - altho not planning on spending a hell of alot of time there - hasnt had the best of reveiws (re: food, rooms) in the forum ... this generally true??

With regards to the food, it is not like Spain etc where you will get an endless choice, but it is more basic. Breakfast usually consists of scrambled eggs, or boiled, toast, and continental hams etc. But it is very edible and plentyful. (Sometimes you may have to wait awhile when things run out before they top them up again. Coffee is quiet strong, my wife always takes her own Gold Blend and Coffee Mate. Nobody will mind if you do this ...
