Borovets Instructors

Hi all.

Firstly, I'd like to thank you for the entertainment I've got from tapping into this discussion board since I booked my bulgaria ski hol in June!!

Quick question though - I'm going to borovets in Jan and will be looking for a good instructor. Will only want a couple of days instruction (have been skiing a couple of times before - want top-up!).

Does anyone where I can find a good instructor? Should I book in advance and how much would it cost (roughly) per day?

re: Borovets Instructors

You will probably be best to get a ski package with your tour operator firstly as it will work out most cost effective and secondly because in general all the ski instructors in Borovets are excellent.

They speak fairly good English and spend the whole day with you and are more like a guide than an instuctor. They teach you as you go along.

Hope this helps and enjoy

re: Borovets Instructors

If you want an instructor for a few days, why not pop in to see Christo in the White Magic bar - he taught a couple that I was friendly with last year and they were skiing better than me in 3 days than my group was by the end of the week.

re: Borovets Instructors

I am happy to direct you to a decent instructor. He is quite entertaining and quite reasonably priced.
