Borovets January

Hey I'm a first time poster on this forum although i have enjoyed reading it. Could anybody tell me what kind of snowfall Borovets gets during the second week in January? Obviously i understand it changes every year but does anyone know any averages? Thank you for any help.

Seee my last post to Carl, but March / April are normally best for skiing overall, or have been for the last few years. Saying that, 2 seasons ago, the snow was brilliant at xmas / new year, but then there was nothing in january. Last season (09/10) there was nothing at xmas / new year, 1 good week mid-january and then nothing much until the end of Feb.
So...apologies if that's not that helpful, but as before, I update the site most days in the winter season with snow conditions ...

Three of us are already booked up for 8th January, If we don't have any snow I'm sure the bars wont mind looking after three young lads and will keep merry. Thank you for replying. I will look out for you updates and keep my fingers crossed.Thanks

Hi Chris, four of us going 10th of Jan so it beter snow!! Have been before and generally to of the gondla is always ski or board able. Bars are alws good value. Have a good one.Boris.

we are off 16th January- so hope the snow comes, but as said you can still have a good time if little snow!

Hi guys,If you go into snow report on left menu under info and services. Go to the bottom of the page and it gives you archive snow report. This goes back to 2003 i think.

We were in Borovets this year from the 2nd January. It snowed heavens high on the Tuesday - then turned to rain & washed it all away! 
There was more snow back home in the UK that week! Just a freak year I hope.
We still want to go back this year at the same time. If we do, it will be thanks to Kas because of her daily snow / piste condition reports. We will leave it late & book based on local reports on conditions.

No probs at all! It's easy when Bobby's in Boro and calls the operators to find out what's open and what's not - all I do is type it up!! Just a shame the reports weren't more positive last year...hopefully this year I'll be able to write better things!Looking forward to meeting up for a beer when you're over!
