Borovets Lift Passes

Can anyone tell me if you can pay for your lift passes in Borovets with your credit card. i know that most places don't accept them, bars/restaurants but its a lot of cash to carry about if you have to pay for a families lift passes for the week.

Lift passes can not be paid with credit card. Only cash
Maybe you can arrange with your travel company.
Last year I was a little mad about that. What about 4 x 6 day lift passes? 500 euros in cash???? That's not correct isn't it?

There is a cash point on the Rila hotel wall or you could pay for it via Balkan Holidays. Ed

Some of the ski schools have progressed this year and allow you to book equipment or just passes online, so that might help if you want to carry less cash. Alternatively, like Ed said, there are numerous cash points around - others are in the entrance to the Flora Hotel, just up from the Green King and in Hotel Ela.
