HI Rodders,
At the moment there is no Yastrebets only pass. Also the weekend pass is much more expensive - used to be 38ev full day but now 45lev... They have increased it as it is really popular with locals / Sofians as was the Yastrebets only pass, hence the reason they are not doing it - it doesn't really affect the tourists as much as most are on a weeks pass but the locals will have to spend more and will not just be on one side of the mountain...
When they agreed the prices, they did so if they can only open Yastrebets they may do a Yastrebets only pass, but wjo knows, will find out this morning and let you know.
To be fair to Borosport, the price increase can easily be reflected in the increase in snow cannons, improvements, snow park etc. It is not traditional BG daylight robbery
The omission of the yastrebets pass is a no brainer for them. That is by far he best skiing in Borovets, with snow cannons and a snow park...So why sell it cheap?
On the other point, if people come from Sofia for a days skiing, they can certainly afford the xtra 7leva and contribute like the midweekers.
