We arrive at Borovets on Saturday and next week is now looking a lot colder then we thought at the start of this week.
. Very good news. Hoping the snow comes tonight and Tuesday 
Cannot wait for my first skiing holiday. Spent the last 50 to 60 days looking at the forums and webcams

Same here.Sunday and Monday are still going to be mild (4c in resort) but that should not have an impact on the skiing. The higher runs will all be in fantastic shape and then it gets colder from Monday night onwards with some snow hopefully.
Only two days to goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Cheers Mark. Given your superbly helpful weather reports you, and one other friend/relative/significant other are allowed on the snow for the duration of your stay. Just put it back afterwards please.Everyone else.... GEROFF MY PISTE!!

Did not know this forum existed until then and every day since i have been on the forum7 of us coming, Flying from East midlands on Sat.
. Staying at Iglika palace Hotel.Anyone recommend any bars or restaurants? We already heard a lot about bobby's bar, any good restaurants or bars on the mountain?

Last update from me before the big off tomorrow (1pm Gatwick).
Not too much has changed. Sunday will the warmest day of the week, 5c maxima in boro and around freezing on the higher runs. Anyone thinking - oh my god the snow will melt don't worry! Freeze thaw cycles are normal and the snow gods have provided a chunky base this year (1.5m - 2m).
Monday will see the beginning of a cool down, temps will be few degrees down on Sunday, with precipitation starting to encroach from thd ...

Tuesday will be cooler again, possibly some lighg rain to start in resort but this will change to snow at all levels as colder air moves in. Wednesday to Friday is looking cold (below freezing at all levels) with snow a possibility.
So the week should proove interesting - Spring conditions on piste to start thd week and then possible powder skiing from mid week onwards. The usual caveat applies, that being things may change, but recent model runs have been consistent in the main.
