Quick review from last week. Pretty icey the first few days and then mid-late week had fairly constant snow. Quick review from last week. Pretty icey the first few days and then mid-late week had fairly constant snow. Dumped pretty heavy most of the night on Thursday for our final day, and again Friday night to treat the arrivals which took our place on Saturday. Gondola shut a couple of times in the afternoons due to strong winds. A few runs shut occiasonally throughout the week due to being too icey/lack of snow. Had a couple of nice blue-sky days, and only needed the mid-layer on a couple of times in the latter parts of the day.
Black Tiger is now located at the bottom of the black run by the 4 man chairlift. Only time it was busy was during the bar crawl. Just dont think it's going to be anywhere near as popular now due to being out of the way.
Used Crown Booths in centre of Borovets to get Levs, 2.245 throughout the week. Typical prices were 4 Levs for a beer, 10+ Levs for a pizza. Took my own board with me but hired out skis for one day. 25 Levs at the gondola from Borosport.
Stayed half board in the Moura for my second time. Forgot how basic the food was. Did a job to keep you fed, just dont expect to get the tastebuds tingling.
2 mates in ski school, beginner and intermediate. The beginner loved it and got on great, only had good things to say about his Borosport instructor, called Angel I think. The intermediate got on fine too but dropped out after a couple of days to stick with us.
