Hi Trigger, ski lessons are usually 4hrs per day, 2hrs before lunch and 2hrs after. They start at 10am and finish between 3pm and 4pm depending on how long you take for lunch Booze

.....also meant to add
1. after a day or two the group might want to start earlier and I've found that the instructors are pretty flexible - this can mean that you avoid the queue at the gondola
2. If you have kids and they are in a different group their instructor will expect you to collect them (quite rightly, they have to wait for an adult to collect the kids) so you may need to leave your lesson early to get back to collect the kids at the end of their lessons.

Very Happy

re: Borovets Schools

Whitey,
Thanks for that, I'm bringing out the family on the 9th it's their first time. Two boys are 7 and 15, the 7 year old is a bit nervous about going off on his own with a group, so I've said I'll be within eyesight untill he gets his snow feet ! (Knowing him it wont be long)
I am forgoing lessons this year to be available for them, so I'll be picking him up, fingers crossed they (particularly Mother!!) will like it.
If one other person (non skier that is) comes up to her and says ...

re: Borovets Schools

I also have a 7 year old and she can't wait for lessons this year now that she is old enough. She has been twice before - 2006 in kindergarten made loads of friends and last year I spent the week with her. The little ones have great fun in a group and make friends really quickly. It really is amazing how quickly they learn - no fear, and low centre of gravity I guess Very Happy
Have a great time - conditions look to be fantastic - and post a report when you get back.
Cheers, Booze
