Borovets Ski Hire

Hi, going skiing to borovets end of January, only been once before (in New Zealand!) so very excited. Not got any gear at all, i know you can hire boots, ski's & poles but what about jackets and salopettes, i have a good climbing jacket which is situitable but my wife has nothing, also i am quite big (40+ inch waist) cheers

Try TK Maxx if you've got one near you - they are quite cheap.

You could always wait until you get to Bulgaria where you can try it on and get a wide selection.

re: Borovets Ski Hire

never saw anywhere to rent skiwear last week, and the shops didnt appear to be as cheap as i was led to believe if you wanted to buy there.
We hired ours in England before we went, dont know where you are from we got ours from a great hire shop in Pontefract called Tordoffs

re: Borovets Ski Hire

I dont think you are able to hire any clothing in borovets. Better to buy cheap here (TK Maxx good idea) or rent before you go.

Try going to Decathlon sports and you will kit yourself out for around £50-£60.Cheaps as chips and the gear is very good.
