Borovets Ski School

Hi there,

I'm new to all this and am planning a trip to Borovets in January. Does anyone know whether I need to book the ski school in advance and if so how to do it? Also can you get combined ski school, lift pass and equipment hire packages without having to book accomodation too?

Any help much appreciated!

Cheers

Nikki

Hi Nikki, and a very warm welcome to the board.

Normally I would suggest you book EVERYTHING with your travel agency as it will be much much cheaper than if you book it independantly in resort. They buy in bulk so can pass on the savings to their customers. That's not to say the prices are inflated over there, it just saves you paying the full price. They can also book your hire equipment, your lift pass, and your ski school for you, but these offers are only if you have booked the ...

They can also book your hire equipment, your lift pass, and your ski school for you, but these offers are only if you have booked the holiday with them as well. They do not sell them seperately.

If you need more info just ask.

Wow, that was quick - thanks Pete!

So I've seen a deal with Igluski.co.uk........flights and accommodation - do you reccommend I contact them and see if they offer the ski school and lift pass thing too? (they don't mention it on their website).

Just a bit concerned that if I don't book in advance then the ski school may book up!

What do you reckon?

Cheers!

re: Borovets Ski School

They will always find room for you, that's never a problem but it's the cost that makes the difference. I have known many who have bought a cheap holiday only to find it works out dearer once they have got all the add ons in resort.

Most companies will do a full ski pack (1 weeks lift pass, 1 weeks tuition, skis, boots, poles) for under £100. Buying independantly the lift pass alone will cost more than that.

Hi,

I am Travel Agent who has been to Bulgaria for the last 12 years, and always find that Inghams are the cheapest.
But just don't check your internet, call the local Agent they can often do big discounts if you ask.
