Kas has confirmed 2m in areas but is this a bashed and pisted depth or is it at the edges where there is still some powder?
Of course what's there is great and will be a good base for the rest of season but is there enough yet to pretty much cover all the rocks etc. for the rest of the season?
Could Georges Run and the Musala pathway be skied for weeks to come yet?
I'm not worried for myself as the bits I will mainly ski have cannons ...
How accurate are the snow depth figures?

I'm not worried for myself as the bits I will mainly ski have cannons anyway but I really want to do the long runs with the kids when we come at the beginning of March and really hope the dump is enough to pretty much ensure that we can.
From my experience, the reported depth would suggest enough snow to ski on until the end of the season assuming it stays below freezing. Off course some bits will be thinner than others and a lot depends on how many boarders scrape it all off but with snow cannons and good maintainance it's looking pretty good.
Bobby has said the amount of snow will still ensure good conditions even if it doesn't snow for 2 months....but dont quote me on that as I am only the messenger!!
To be honest I am being stupid - it's the disease of the the expectant snow junkie!
Last year there was a dirth of snow - we had a 60cm dump the day after we arrived (5th March) and we had good snow all week pretty much everywhere. Some pathways were a bit thin by the latter part of the week but there were no real problems.
I know that there will be plenty of good stuff to ski, I am mainly thinking of the kids as they are still learning and more restricted so I want as much to be open ...

Conditions are great, skied today, little bit choppy in the afternoon but the piste bashers here are lazy and only do it once a day whereas in some ski resorts I've been to they do it numerous times a day.... Apart from that mate all runs loads of snow!!
Looking forward to it. We get there on Sunday 4th and leave Sunday week so we'll cross paths on the 10th. Loads of people we spoke to last year said first week in March is always fine hence why we are doing it again. I've not got any real worries, just hope there is plenty of top up snow over the next few weeks and a dump as we arrive would be brill!
