I will be heading to Borovets in a couple of weeks and was just wondering which Spa/Wellness Centre is considered the best in the resort? Having not visited Bulgaria before I'm not too sure what to expect standards wise for these facilities.
Also, are the Bulgarians closer to the French or Austrians when it comes to their sauna etiquette?
The best for this will be the Yastrebez hotel, with the best Spa and wellness centre, but not sure if it is open for visitors or just for hotel guest. Some other hotels as the Yanakiev, the Samokov, the Lion, f.e. have different offers and standarts, not sure what are the french or the austrian sauna etiquette, had never problems with our german ones.
Just sometimes funny for the britishs...
Just had a 3 Hr total pamper session in the samakov hotel for 30 pounds. Amazing service including a one Hr hot oil massage, herbal bath, and one Hr session in the spa area! Highly luxurious! A must do! X
Hi Yes Yastabrets is fab and you can go in for spa without staying, quite pricey for treatments but beautiful spa. The festa Winter Palace is also lovely 5 * as well again treatments pricey but facilities fab. Lots of other hotels have cheaper treatments but if you want luxury try those 2
Maybe use facitilties in them and go to cheaper one for traetments ex Rila, Flora, lion Ice Angels etc
