Borovets Virgin

On 21st Feb my girlfriend and I are off to Borovets for the first time. Staying at the Olymp. I have read mixed reports about the Olymp so will not expect much, we are going for the skiing and boarding, not the Hotel.

Neither of us have are own skis/boards so, to those who have been before, where is the best place to hire. Is it worth paying for the Crystal hire package?
Also lift passes, what are the prices over there.

Regards

Rob

re: Borovets Virgin

Pay the Crystal package and go as beginners, you will get ski school for four hours a day, boots, poles, skis & lift passes (valid for 6 days) for about £100 each, if you book at the resort it works out twice as much. However, the Crystal hire room is very small two people in it changing boots etc and its full. If you decide on ski school ask for Rumen he is great and has a wicked sense of humor.

re: Borovets Virgin

Thank you for your reply but we don't need lessons.
It's just the ski/board hire and lift passes.

re: Borovets Virgin

Definitely get your lift pass before you get out there. My brother waited and paid double in Boro than we paid before we went out.
