It would have been funny tho, ive just got back from borovets....wicked holiday we had booking already for next year!! hopefully the right time to see the naked skiing!!

What did you do with your ski's and stuff at the end of the day Toe, We are taking most of our own stuff, is there any storage about ?
we all loved it, first time we had been since school 12 years before, we stayed at the rila, probably the best hotel there along with the samakov, hotel was great nice sized rooms clean, quality bar in reception, loads of food to choose from it was good food but remember you are in bulgaria so its not Hilton hotel standards but all of us thought it was a brill hotel no complaints.
We skiied with the ski package so hired stuffed and we took it back to the depot at night so dont know what ...

Was the exchange rate any good in the rila ? But most importantly was the snow/ skiing good !!!
Exchange rate alright in the rila think it was about 2.5 lev to a quid, but in the street there is a booth for about 2.7 2.8 i know they say dont use the street to exchange but we tried it and it was fine, they have all the machines to count and exchange the money so dont know what the fuss was about.
Snow started badly when we went alot melted early on but mid week we had loads of snow and it was ace, top of the gondola there will always be snow, occasionally ...

when you cant ski just go bum boardin anyway thats quality even tho i almost cripled myself ending up with a v saw bum from jumping off a ledge...not advised!!
