I noticed on the homepage here that alot of the cams from Borvets have been switched off with a message saying "Closed for ski season 2010-2011".Does this mean just those runs or the whole area???

The chair in front of the Ice Angels is running so must be just the runs where cams have been turned off.The cam situated at Sitnyakovo Express has an ideal opportunity in the summer to run to show the MTB'ers. Will they run it ??

looks like borovets has been put out of its misery for 10/11. Dreadful season, lets forget about it and look forward to 11/12!

In terms of Boro, the Rila runs and the Yastrebets runs are still open - ie: those places where there has been snow cannons and better coverage. They shut the top (markudjik runs and the Harima - run down from the gondola) on Sunday. The gondola is now open for walkers only...worst irony of it all is that it snowed up top today!! Not much, but it was rain at the bottom, snow up top! We closed the restaurant on Sunday ...

Saying that, the only run skiable at the top was the Suhar and it would need one massive lot of snow to have been enough for any of the others to open up.

weve got people just arrived, but as theyre beginners at least they are learning on the rila slopes, not sure whats in store for them later on n the week thoughps you think this season was bad in boro, oh boy wait till next year!!!!
