Firstly, Happy New Year to Everyone!
It snowed all day in Borovets yesterday - it wasn't overtly heavy but did settle and leave approx 20cm of fresh powder snow. Today is a beautiful day, fresh power, blue skies and sunshine. Temps are a bit warmer than it has been though.
Mussala path is better than it has been for the last couple of days with less patchy places / rocks. Marky 1 is in very good condition as are the Rila reds and yastrebets 2.
The resort is much busier today than it ...

The resort is much busier today than it has been since the opening on the 23rd - mainly with Russians, Bulgarians, English and Greeks. I am at home today not up in Borovets but Bobby is up the top of the mountain and in addition to the above report has also said that there is some fantastic off-piste skiing as well...

good to hear its getting better... Off piste is where its at and if Bobby says its ok then its ok.... LOLThere is more forecasted in 3-4 days they say so keep it coming Boro.......

Happy new year Kas, there will be 15 of us out in 9 weeks today can't wait. Holiday all paid....
