Whilst i intend to hit the slopes later this week the other half will be sitting in a warm cafe somewhere in Boro getting bored.
Has anybody got any (clean) suggestions on day trips and things to do whilst not skiing during the day
I started a thread last week after I had the pleasure of visiting Malyovitsa ski resort for the day. What came of that was someone asked whether they offer day trips from Borovets. So, I ventured into the Rila hotel where Balkan have their tourist office and the Samokov Hotel where there is another tourist office. The outcome was, no one is offering days excursions to Malyovitsa. Balkan do only when there is poor snow in Borovets!.
If anyone is interested, I can arrange transportation from ...

If you like Hannah, I organise Paragliding flights if that is of interest? .......no joke
There is heaps to do other than skiing.
Excursions to the Rila Monastary, ski dooing, day trip to Sofia, get drunk, do a workout, play pool/snooker, ten-pin bowling, horse trekk, swimming, massages, ice skating in Samokov...........
I'm out of breath!!!

I dont think my parents or my 15 month old daughter would like to paraglide or get drunk
However now that u mention paragliding - how much?
Is there an age limit on the skidoos? and how much are they?
Thanks Hannah
An age limit regarding your mum, no I think she will be accepted.
The paragliding flight cost BGN 160.00 leva per person.
The flights normally take off from the top of the gondola.
